Arizona Chapter

The first event of the season is going to be held at Pleasant Harbor Resort October 1st - 4th please make your reservations with the resort @ 928-501-5253.  I will be your host for this event.  I understand the fishing is great and for those with water craft there will be plenty of opportunity to enjoy the lake and wildlife.  I hope to have a great turn out, as this is the season kick off and our last chance to go over any news prior to the national convention, which is October 26th - 31st at The View Point Resort.

We are not meeting for November but we will celebrate the holidays December 2nd - 5th at Fortuna De Oro Resort in Yuma.  Again please make your reservations with the resort @ 928-342-5051.  Jan Clayton and I will be your hosts for this event come enjoy all the sights and activities’ that Yuma has to offer.  Oh yes, don’t’ forget Algodones.

January as always is the infamous Quartzsite camp out, which as we all know is dry camping.  Your host for this campout is Mary Cordell.  We need another host to help Mary for this event, please contact Linette if you can help.

February the 18th – 21st we are once again returning to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument.  This is a boon-docking rally.  Registration information and campsite fees will be posted in the magazine.  After the rally we may caravan to Puerto Penasco (Rocky Point) for a day, a week or a month.  Your hosts for this get together will be Mary Beth Stearns and Linette Davis.

March 16th - 21st in Laughlin, NV we will once again be at the Riverside RV Park for a St. Patrick’s Day outing.  Jolene, Lori along with Mo and Nita will be your host for this adventure.  Look for more information to be posted in the magazine at a later date.

April 28th – May 1st is the birding festival in Verde Valley and I would like to put out a request for someone to be the host for an AZ chapter rally during this time.  I know that we have many members who would enjoy participating in the birding festival.  Email me at linettedav@gmail.com if you would be interested.
